He suffered mental crises and severe mental illnesses and tasted poverty, but despite all the problems, Hesse left more than 80 novels, collections of poems or books of short stories. He is mentioned as the most widely read German author of the 20th century.<br />In addition to the Nobel Prize, he has won eight other literary prizes, including the Goethe World Prize. هرمان هسه، نویسنده، شاعر و نقاش آلمانی و برنده جایزۀ نوبل ادبیات،‌ در دوم ژوئیه ۱۸۷۷ میلادی در شهر کالو واقع در کشور آلمان در خانواده‌ای فرهنگی دیده به جهان گشود.<br />او تا سال ۱۹۶۲ زندگی و طی عمر ۸۵ سالۀ خود، زندگی پر فراز و نشیبی را تجربه کرد. وی به بحران‌های روحی و بیماری‌های روانی شدید دچار شد و طعم فقر را چشید، اما به‌رغم همۀ مسائل، هسه بیش از ۸۰ رمان، مجموعه شعر یا کتاب داستان کوتاه از خود به یادگار گذاشت. از او به‌عنوان پرخواننده‌ترین نویسندۀ آلمانی قرنEEWFK بیستم یاد می‌کنند.<br />او علاوه بر جایزۀ نوبل، هشت جایزۀ ادبی دیگر از جمله جایزۀ جهانی گوته را به‌دست آورده است.. https://www.adabiyatemoteahed.ir/article_153738_1fdf78d19b2dcc7ac6e9844760178dba.pdf
